July 23, 2018 – The Archers & Bowhunters Association of Manitoba is pleased to announce the 2018/2019 Provincial Target Team that will represent Manitoba at major events over the coming year, including the 2018 Canadian Archery Championships in Truro, Nova Scotia (August 9 – 12, 2018).

This years team will be made up of four (4) females and nine (9) males in varying age divisions from Cub (14 & Under) to Senior (21 & up).

Of the athletes named to the team, Austin Taylor, Brady Klassen, Bryanne Lameg, Chyler Sanders, Keenan Brown, Kyle Cherniak, Nattasha Shpak, Robbie Comberbach, Ryan Cherniak, Simon Potrebka and Sloane Scrivener will be travelling to Truro, NS. later this summer to compete at the 2018 Canadian Archery Championships.

The organization would like to highlight the addition of new team members Brandon Peterson, Chyler Sanders, Hailee MacDonald and Sloane Scrivener (shown below from left to right). Sanders, MacDonald, Scrivener, along with 2017/2018 Provincial Team Development Squad archer Nattasha Shpak took part in the 2018 Manitoba Winter Games Program, later competing and medalling in the individual and team events. We are extremely proud to see the development of these Manitoba Games Athletes qualifying for the Team Program for the first time and making the jump to the Elite Squad.
